New Zealand's Failed Economic Experiment....

A warning to the world

New Zealand was subjected to a 15 year economic experiment that left us worse off than when we started.

The politicians responsible are fast running out of excuses for New Zealand’s poor performance in all major indicators.

Worse, while New Zealand’s economy has been slowly
withering, less ideologically driven countries such as Finland, Ireland and Taiwan have been thriving.

What went wrong ?

"In the fifteen years since New Zealand opened up to the forces of globalisation, we have performed dismally, both economically and socially."
Hugh Fletcher recently retired CEO of Fletcher Challenge, New Zealand's largest manufacturing group.
